I am two years older than Caleb so I didn’t know him well. I got to know him when we were on the football team together this year.

Caleb was a really hard worker. I admired him for coming to practice every day and work out with us even though he knew he wouldn’t be able to play a game.

When I found out he died, I was shocked that someone so young could just be gone. We had both just done weight training together the day before. It made me realize that life is short and we never know when it is the last time we will see someone.

I was one of the usher’s at Caleb’s funeral. Caleb was someone who was always excited and seemed so happy. I won’t forget him.
